Saxophonist / Composer / Arranger
BvR Flamenco-Jazz 6tet
The paths of these 6 musicians meet as a result of their role in the BvR Flamenco Big Band. In this reduced, more intimate format, the attention is focused on a rhythm section that wraps around and
carries the flamenco protagonists.
The 6tet brings together 2 key elements from the Dutch Flamenco scene, María Marín (voice) and Edsart Udo de Haes (flamenco guitar). Flamenco dancer Cristina Hall is also an frequent feature.

Bernard van Rossum-tenor/soprano sax, composition.
María Marín- voice, palmas
Edsart Udo de Haes- Flamenco guitar
Xavi Torres- Piano
Marco Zenini-double bass
Joan Terol- drums
The Bernard van Rossum Quartet
A body of original compositions is brought to life, creating a musical landscape where lyrical melodies float over a solid rhythm section. The appeal of song-like melodic simplicity contrasts with dynamic solo sections.
Vuma Levin 5tet
Lead by South African Guitarist Vuma Levin. Blending the drive of the American Jazz greats, the melancholy and introspective qualities of the European musical tradition and the accessibility and upbeat of popular South African music.
Julian Schneemann octet
Imagine a continuously changing roundabout, where each round is different from the last. The inflow of influences create new outcomes. Traffic signs become irrelevant, the inner compass all the more tangible.
Can you mix instruments like a bassoon, electric guitar, trumpet, saxophone, piano, french horn, drums and double bass, which have never played together before?
